The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, and Deji Adeyanju, a human rights’ activist, among many other Nigerians have raised concerns over the health status of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Reacting to a video showing the moment the APC presidential candidate returned from the United Kingdom where it was alleged that he underwent a medical checkup, Omoyele Sowore wrote: “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu struggles with life are real!”
Others submitted that Bola Tinubu could barely walk.

@Chioma Chinyere wrote: “I don’t think he will have the strength to go round to campaign in 10 states before jetting out again.

Meanwhile, contrary to media reports and speculations that Tinubu is battling with his ill health, presidential spokesperson, Bashir Ahmad claimed the APC flagbearer travelled for political consultations and meetings in London and not for a medical checkup.
Prior to Tinubu’s return, Bashir wrote on Twitter saying: “After days of intensive political consultations and meetings in London, our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is expected back in Abuja, later today.”
Nigerians Cast Doubt On Tinubu’s Health Status
Before his travel to the United Kingdom, Nigerians casted doubt on Tinubu’s credibility to govern Nigeria after he missed the signing of the 1st National Peace Accord in Abuja.
Many alleged that Tinubu who was represented by his deputy, Kashim Shettima is battling with his ill health.
While discrediting his presidential ambition, commenters are of the opinion that Tinubu will not be able to govern Nigeria given the situation of things.
On Twitter, a question,” Where is Tinubu? ‘is trending as tweeps wonder about the whereabouts of the presidential candidate who was supposed to join his counterparts to sign the National Peace Accord.
Popular activist, Alsha Yesufu tweeted, “My stance has never wavered and pray to God it doesn’t. am interested in Nigeria not the leaders. They are there to serve us. Where is Tinubu is trending. Same question I asked seven years ago of their then presidential candidate.”
“We started asking’ Where is Buhari?’ after he was elected. We are now asking ‘Where is Tinubu?’ even before election. Affliction shall not rise the second time,” Darlington tweeted.
Tinubu’s Recent Video To Prove Fitness Exposed
An investigation into the supposed recent video of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, on an exercise bike shows that its an old video which was shared online in 2021.
According to Google, the video which was shared by Tinubu to prove that he is fit to govern the country was shared by one @thedjpompim on 30th November, 2021.
On Twitter, David Hundeyin, an investigative journalist slammed the APC presidential candidate after the revelation.
He wrote: “You can delete the video you tweeted a year ago @TheDJPompin but Google cache does not tell lies.
“All you guys have succeeded in doing with this unnecessary lie is telling us that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in fact, seriously ill.”
Reacting, netizens raised concerns over the health status of Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom they said must be really sick for the APC to resort to an old video as a cover.
@Excel Nonso wrote: “While men slept, David cooked with right ingredients. Tinubu’s bicycle video is an old video. A testament to fact that Tinubu’s men should never near Aso Rock. They will dish out lies after lies on daily basis. Buhari’s tenure would be a child’s play.”
@Nwonuala: “Such a shame that we have people who are happy to see the country plunged into darkness so long they satisfy their greed.”
@Fara Red: “Please let’s pray for Tinubu. Sentiment aside, he needs our prayers because we know all is not well.”
Meanwhile, in the video Tinubu shared on Sunday via his Twitter handle, the presidential candidate captioned: “Many have said have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.
“Well.. Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and am READY to serve Nigerians from day one.”
