Notorious Bandits’ Kingpin Shows Kindness, Rescues Abducted White Man From Terrorists

Dreaded bandits’ kingpin, Mai-Jakka is currently trending online following what many described as his kind gesture towards an abducted foreign construction company’s engineer in Zamfara State.

Zagazola, a counter-insurgency expert in the Lake Chad, revealed that the white man works with Triacta Nigeria Limited, and was handling the Gusau – Sokoto road dualization project before he was kidnapped by terrorists, unfamiliar with Jakka.

The publication, however, further revealed that Mai Jakka, who operates under Saidu (his boss), rescued the white man because of the truce the white man’s company has with him and Saidu’s camp.

It was gathered that Jakka is notorious for series of kidnappings and killings in Zamfara State.

Last week, the Islamic State of the West Africa Province (ISWAP), executed a police officer abducted alongside his wife and children on Biu Road in Borno State.

Recall that on Sunday, 7 April 24, the police officer was on transit with his wife and children from Damboa to Biu for Eid break when the terrorists attacked them.

It was gathered that he unfortunately went through a banned route.

He and his family were abducted by the suspected ISWAP operatives around Shokotoko general area located approximately 73/km south of Damboa.

Sadly in the evening of the same day, the police officer was publicly executed by the terrorists while his wife and children were released, Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst on the Lake Chad region reports.

Mixed reactions have trailed the development, with many asking why he was the only one killed.

Meanwhile, in another story, troops of the Nigerian Army 144 Battalion, Operation Hadin Kai, apprehended Saidu Hassan Yellow, a top commander of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), in Madagali, Adamawa state.

Zagazola said the commander who is also known as Abu Saidu, was nabbed alongside other suspected terrorists, following an intelligence operation.

“The terrorist kingpin who was among one of the most wanted criminals on the list of the security agency, was apprehended in a sting operation carried out by the troops at the Mubi Market General area on April 9, 2024,” Zagazola Makama said. CONTINUE READING
